Ever wonder what the Canadian Boreal Forest is about? We can give you a guided tour and explain and explore what nature in this part of the world is about based on a Metis person‘s perspective.
while on this forest adventure, you will learn about the different plants and animal that typically inhabit the Northern Boreal Forest in Northern Alberta. Also you will learn of some of the local human history and what people did prior to broad commercialization. This tour is based on areas around Fort McMurray, Alberta.
If you’ve ever wondered what would it be like to explore the Boreal Forest in Northern Alberta, but were afraid of what might be out there. Here’s your chance to try a experience which will give you a new appreciation of this land, from a Metis perspective.
A trek through the forest learning about plants and animals that inhabit the area
Leave Fort McMurray and head into the forest. You’ll learn about many different animals and their habitat. You will learn of the local history. You will get to see different animals as we travel through the woods. We will be gone approximately 6 hours. We will stop to have a healthy lunch. Then return back to staging area. We will take some photos for your memories.
